June 2026 Update

Rate Update Effective August 1, 2026

Beginning August 1, 2026, the hourly rate for Integrative Medicine services at Instinctive Wellness will increase to $225 per hour.

Services will continue to be billed in 15-minute increments, which means the new rate will be $56.25 per 15-minute block.

This update applies to visits and all other professional services, including complex care between visits and billable care provided through the patient portal.

 

What This Means

  • Services provided before August 1, 2026 will remain at the current rate.
  • Services provided on or after August 1, 2026 will be billed at the updated rate.
  • The billing structure will remain the same: services are billed in 15-minute increments based on the time needed.
  • Because missed or late-cancelled appointments reserve time that cannot usually be offered to another patient, the late cancellation and missed appointment fee schedule will also update as of August 1, 2026 to reflect the current cost of the scheduled visit, in accordance with the existing cancellation policy.

 

Updated Rate Structure

  • Hourly rate: $225/hour
  • 15-minute increment: $56.25
  • 30 minutes: $112.50
  • 45 minutes: $168.75
  • 60 minutes: $225
  • 90 minutes: $337.50
  • 120 minutes: $450

I have kept my rates as accessible as possible, including reducing my rate significantly during the height of COVID and keeping my fees below the average rates for functional and integrative care. Since then, the cost of running a small healthcare practice has continued to rise, and the depth and complexity of the work has continued to grow.

This change is part of gently right-sizing the practice so that I can continue offering the kind of thoughtful, individualized, root-cause care that Instinctive Wellness is built around.

The work I do often includes time outside of the scheduled visit — reviewing records, interpreting labs, thinking through complex patterns, research, coordinating care, creating plans, and responding through the portal. In order to keep providing that level of care in a sustainable way, the fee structure needs to better reflect the time, preparation, and clinical reasoning involved.

 

Reiki Session Rate Update

Additionally, beginning August 1, 2026, the rate for a single Reiki session will increase to $135. Reiki sessions are approximately 75–90 minutes, which includes time to check in before the session, receive Reiki, and integrate afterward.

The Prepaid Five-Session Reiki Package will update to $594, which reflects a 12% discount. All active prepaid Reiki packages will be honored at the previous rate until those packages are completed.
